Ladies Day at The 2015 Crabbie’s Grand National
Ladies Day fashion was in full swing today as Aintree welcomed sea of colorful hats and heels.
The Red Rum garden was a hive of activity for the second day running, today hosting the Liverpool One house band ‘Funk Soul Continuum’ who entertained crowds throughout the day.
Ladies Day proved to have lots to offer visitors today, and not least from the popular Crabbie’s bus where our tartan clad team sampled Crabbie’s Original, Strawberry and Lime, Raspberry Ginger beer, and Crabbie’s Fruits.
The fashion conscious crowds enjoyed a day full of spectacular horse-racing and the Ladies Day race results were as follows:
The Alder Hey Children’s Hanicap hurdle Race: THEINVAL
The E-Lites Top Novices’ Hurdle Race: CYRUS DARIUS
The Betfred Mildmay Novices’ Steeple Chase: SAPHIR DU RHEU
The Betfred Melling Steeple Chase: DON COSSACK
The Crabbie’s Topham Steeple Chase: RAJDHANI EXPRESS
The Doom Bar Sefton Novices’ Hurdle Race: THISTLECRACK
The Weatherbys Wealth Management Champion Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race: BARTERS HILL
Once the racing was over it was time for X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden to entertain the crowds followed by Radio City’s after party with DJ’s Dave Kelly and Lee Butler in the Red Rum Garden.
